The Pentax *ist DS2 is a 6 megapixel digital SLR introduced by Pentax in 2005. Samsung also distributed a version called GX-1S. It is a modest update to the Pentax *ist DS. This upgraded the rear LCD to a 2.5" diagonal, with 210,000 dot resolution.
