With Olympus 25mm "pancake" lens image by Richard Brookes (Image rights) |
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-L1 is a 2007 Four Thirds system camera — the first Panasonic dSLR, and its first Four Thirds System product. The kit lens is a Leica D Vario-Elmarit 14–50mm f/2.8–3.5 lens, the first Leica-branded (if Panasonic-manufactured) digital-specific lens, and Leica's first Four Thirds product. The absence of a pentaprism hump is due to a unique internal folded lightpath for its reflex finder, a design shared by the Olympus E-330.
