The Lumix DMC-FZ50 is a digital camera made by Panasonic in 2006. It was the replacement for the FZ30, and allows images of up to 10.1 Megapixles, compared to the FZ30's 8; other differences between the two are relatively minor. The FZ50 offers ISO speeds up to 1600, or 3200 in certain modes (compared to 400 in the previous model). It also uses the Venus III processing engine (versus the Venus II in the FZ30). It has a built-in pop-up flash, and a hinged LCD screen, with an extended range of flexibility relative to the FZ30. It uses SecureDigital (SD), SecureDigital High-Capacity (SDHC) and MultiMediaCard (MMC) storage cards.
