The Orwolette is a copy of the 1956 model of the Pouva Start (with an optical viewfinder), by the Brazilian company Indústria Brasileira Fotográfica. It makes pictures 2¼ inches square on 120 film. Novacon states that the camera was made from 1964, and that IBF bought moulds from Pouva.[1]
The name of the camera is printed in white on the lens surround, as is the ORWO logo, suggesting that there must have been some connection between IBF and Orwo.
