The Olympus Pen E-P2 with 12.3 megapixel sensor and bayonet for interchangeable Micro Four-Thirds lenses was introduced by Olympus in 2010. It's metal-bodied like its predecessor Olympus Pen E-P1 and has a multi-purpose hot-shoe like the budget variant Olympus Pen E-PL1.
A newer Olympus Pen E-P3 became available in 2011.
