The Olympus D-590 Zoom is also know as the Camedia C-470 or X-500. It is a compact entry level digital camera released in 2004.
It features a 4 megapixel 1/2.5 CCD sensor, producing images of up to 2272 x 1704 resolution. The lens has a 3x optical zoom with 5.8-17.4mm coverage (35-105mm 35mm equivalent). The back has a 134,000 pixel 1.8 inch color LCD display, it uses xD-Picture Card for storage and a 16MB card is included. It is powered by a rechargeable 4.8V Lithium-ion battery.
