The Olympus D-380 is a 2megapixel point-and-shoot digital camera, made in China for Olympus, introduced in 2002[1]. The lens is fixed focus, 0.6m-infinity with a close-up switch for 0.25-0.6m. There is a 4x digital zoom, a panorama mode for lining up successive pictures, and a "2 in 1" feature which takes two portrait-format images and combines them into one frame. Quicktime movies and sequential pictures are also available. Image framing can be done with the optical viewfinder, or the LCD panel on the rear. Images can be uploaded via a USB connection, hidden under a rubbery panel on the users left.
