A 2.1 Megapixel digital camera, featuring a 10x optical zoom. The first of Olympus' so called 'Uzi' Ultra Zooms, the 700 is notable for not having an optical viewfinder at all, instead relying on 2 (low pixel count) LCD screens.
The camera takes SmartMedia cards, and outputs .tiff or .jpeg to a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200.
