The Olympus C-700 Ultra Zoom is a 2.1 Megapixel digital camera, featuring a 10x optical zoom and 2.7x digital zoom. Introduced in late 2001, it was the first of Olympus' so called 'Uzi' Ultra Zooms, the 700 is notable for not having an optical viewfinder at all, instead relying on 2 (low pixel count) LCD screens.

The camera takes SmartMedia cards, and outputs .tiff or .jpeg to a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200.

  • 36 - 360mm f2.8 - 3.5 zoom lens
  • Spot, centre-weighted average or ESP metering
  • ISO 100, 200, 400 or 800
  • SmartMedia card slot
  • 2,020,000 effective pixel 1/2.7" CCD
  • P, Aperture priority, Manual modes and Quicktime movie mode.
