The Nikon Nuvis 300 was introduced in 1999 for the Advanced Photo System, APS. It was equipped with a 28-80mm f/4.2-11 zoom lens with a macro function which comes as close as 0.7 mtrs.
It's a fully automated camera with programmed shutter/aperture settings between 1/3 and 1/400 sec. and an automatic flash to ensure correct exposure. The flash also has a red-eye mode and can be switched off manually.
This model has some luxury features like a diopter adjustment, date imprint, midd-roll change, a self-timer, an infinity button for shooting landscapes and a focus lock function for re-composing the frame.
Besides the date this camera can also imprint some pre-programmed words in 5 different languages, such as "I love you", "Thank you" and "Happy Birthday".
It uses a single CR-2 battery and weighs 155grams without it. Dimensions (wxhxd) 99 x 59 x 37 mm.
