The Coolpix P7000 is a digital camera manufactured by Nikon and announced in 2010. It is part of the long running Coolpix line of digital cameras.
It uses a 1/1.7" 10 megapixel CCD sensor which can produce a maximum image size of 3648 x 2736. Images can be captures in Jpeg or in NRW Raw. Video can be capture in 720p resolution at 24fps in a H264 format in a .mov container. It uses a 35mm equivalent 28–200mm 7x zoom lens. This lens uses a 5 way optical image stabilization. It has a 921,000 pixel 3 inch LCD screen as well as a optical viewfinder with diopter correction. There is a pop-up flash as well as a hot shoe. SDXC cards are used for removable storage, there is also 79MB of built-in storage. Power is with a rechargeable EN-EL14 Lithium-ion battery.
