The Nikon Coolpix 7900 is a 7 megapixel compact digital camera made in China for the Nikon Coporation, introduced in February 2005. It was fitted with a 3x zoom lens, an LCD display and an optical viewfinder. It was available in Black or Silver finish. The Coolpix 5900 was similar, but with slightly reduced 5 megapixel specification.

  • Autofocus: 5 automatic AF modes, + manual area select AF & face priority AF
  • Display: 2.0-inch amorphous silicon TFT LCD monitor

  • Sensor: 1/1.8-inch CCD
  • Power: EN-EL5 Li-Ion battery - or disposable CP1 lithium.
