Minolta X-700 |
The Minolta X-700 was the last camera body with advantage through Minolta's MD lens mount. The MD mount was the only variant of the Minolta SR mount which accepted for MD lenses automatic aperture control by the camera. But surprisingly it had not inherited the simple programs "aperture prority" and "shutter priority" from its predecessor Minolta XD. Instead more complex exposre programs were selectable. Thus it was Minolta's only program-controlled manual focusing SLR.
