The Vectis 3000 is a cute compact zoom camera, one of Minolta's Vectis series for the Advanced Photo System (APS) with built-in flash. It was made in China in the late 1990s.
It has typical features of a compact camera of its time: autofocus (set by half-pressing the shutter release) and automatic exposure, and most features controlled by selection of modes:
- an automatic flash mode with or without red eye reduction by an extra flash before exposure;
- landscape mode(without flash)
- night portrait mode
- forced flash mode
- a self-timer
- date and title code imprinting
The Vectis remote controller can be used with the Vectis 3000.
