The Minolta V3 rangefinder camera had been derived from the Minolta V and Minolta V2 in 1960. As its predecessors it is an all mechanical camera, but with built in uncoupled selenium exposure meter. Only two years after the V2's leaf shutter speed world record Minolta reached a new one with the V3's only 1/3000 seconds minimum exposure time.
