The Minolta Pocket Autopak 470 is a pocket camera for 110 film, made in Japan.

This was Minolta's top of the line pocket camera, only the Minolta 110 Zoom SLR was positioned above this one. For a small and pocketable 110 camera the 470 offered a lot. The lens is a 4 element 26mm f/3.5 Rokkor of the Tessar type and exposure is controlled by a CdS cell with speeds ranging from 2 sec. to 1/1000 sec.

Besides the electronically controlled exposure it has 4 focus zones and an additional close-up lens which slides in front of the lens when needed.

In the viewfinder the user can see which focus zone is selected as well as if the close-up lens is activated. A red LED warns for underexposure, making the use of the add-on flash unit necessary. Power for the camera is provided by 2 LR44 (or equivalent) batteries, these can be tested by pushing the little red button at the side of the camera. The flash unit takes 1 AA cell.

A sliding cover protects the lens and powers the camera off.
