Minolta FS-E II is a fixed-focus compact camera, largely based on the AF-E II. It has motor drive, built-in flash and runs on common AA batteries. It uses DX-coded films, but only at ISO 100 or ISO 400. Minolta sold an additional "creative filter kit" for the FS-E and AF-E.
Specifications
- Lens: 35 mm f/4,5.
- Focus: Fixed focus from 1,5 m to infinity.
- Flash: Built-in, automatically activated with ready-light in finder.
- Flash range (at ISO 100): 1,5—3,2 m. Out of range warning.
- Metering: EV 9,6–16,2 with ISO 100 film. Narrow metering angle.
- Crippled DX decoding; either ISO 100 or ISO 400. Non-DX films are exposed as ISO 100.
- Film transport: Automatic loading, advance and rewind. Continuous shooting mode available.
- Power: 2 x 1,5 V AA alkaline or NiCd batteries.
- Dimensions: 129 x 69,5 x 47 mm.
- Weight: 210 g without batteries.
