The Mentor Compur-Reflex was a SLR for 6.5×9cm film plates or for type 120 film roll adapter. It had a collapsible hood over the reflex finder's focusing matte screen and a spring-driven mirror that had to be reset manually after exposure. For fast action the camera had an alternate sportsfinder. Its rim-set Compur leaf shutter offered speeds 1-1/250 sec. plus B and T mode. Its original Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 1:4.5 f=10.5cm lens was focusable from 1.5 m to infinity by turning the lense's front elements group.
