Matsuzaki Shashinki-ten (松崎写真機店) was a Japanese distributor based in Osaka.[1] It was active at least as early as 1937 and at least as late as 1953.
Distributed cameras
- Baby Chrome
- Zeitax I (1941)[2]
- Gelto (1937–8): authorized dealer in Kansai (Western Japan), the camera was distributed by Hattori Tokei-ten[3]
- Cosmoflex (1953)[4]
Other
- Gelto accessory rangefinder, for Gelto and for Arsen[5]
- Rangefinder conversions for the Gelto, Arsen, Picny, Vero Four, Roico, Molby and Boltax (1943–4)[6]
- KI extinction meter (1938–41)[7]
- Tsubasa hood (1941)[8]
- Tsubasa self-timer (1941)[9]
- Tsubasa rangefinder (1953)[10]
Many advertisements issued by Matsuzaki, both before and after the war, indicate that it was the "distributor of the Tsubasa photographic products" (ツバサ写真用品発売元).[11] These Tsubasa accessories were perhaps made by Tōkyō Shashin Kōgaku Kōgyō-sho. It is not known if they are unrelated with the cameras called Tsubasa made by Optochrom and later Kigawa.
