Mars Shashin Kōgyō-sha (マース写真工業社) was a Japanese company based in Tokyo, Ebara in 1943.[1] It is listed in the "Kokusan shashinki no genjōchōsa" ("Inquiry into Japanese cameras") but the exact nature of its activity is unknown. It is perhaps related to the Baby Balnet camera and perhaps made the Lex shutter observed on an example Weha Six.

Notes

  1. Its address in 1943 was Tōkyō-to Ebara-ku Ebara 5–28 (東京都荏原区荏原5–28). Source: "Kokusan shashinki no genjōchōsa" ("Inquiry into Japanese cameras"), listing the Japanese camera production as of April 1943.
