Mars Shashin Kōgyō-sha (マース写真工業社) was a Japanese company based in Tokyo, Ebara in 1943.[1] It was listed in the April 1943 government inquiry on Japanese camera production as the maker of the Patent Mars shutter (T, B, 1–250).[2] The company also made the Lex shutter (T, B, 5–200), and perhaps the Balnet shutter found on some Baby Balnet cameras.
