Mandel Photo Postcard Machine

The Mandel Photo Postcard Machine Camera was made by the Chicago Ferrotype Company from 1911 to 1930. The suitcase-styled box camera was designed for "Mandel's Positive Process" which used tintype postcards as film sheets, developable to photo-positives inside the camera. The Postcard Machine Cameras were made for greater postcard formats than the small Mandel-ette of the same camera maker.
