Yoshihisa Maitani (谷村吉久, Maitani Yoshihisa) was a famous designer working for Olympus from the 1950s. He designed the original half frame Pen model, the Pen F half frame SLR, the OM 35mm SLR system and the XA ultra compact 35mm camera.
