The Magna is a Japanese leaf shutter in #0 size, providing 25, 50, 100, B, T speeds. It appeared in 1930, inspired by the German Vario[1], and was the first camera shutter made by the company Seikosha.

Cameras equipped (incomplete list, and not all variants are concerned):

  • Lily Hand 6.5×9 plate folder by Konishiroku (maybe with a needle selftimer device like the Licht)
  • New Kokka Hand 6.5×9 plate folder by Kuribayashi
