LCD, or Liquid Crystal Display is a type of display screen frequently used in digital camera displays, to display images, menus and settings, and also in some film cameras to display settings. LCDs may be made as pixel-oriented arrays - capable of showing full photo images, or fixed-format, able to display only pre-defined symbols.
