Kyokutō Kōki Seisakusho (極東光機製作所) was a Japanese company.

It is said to have made the Semi Tex 4.5×6 folder. An advertisement for this camera[1] shows a logo reading Kyokko Mfg. Co., possibly an abbreviation of the company's name (thus written 極光). It also shows the trademark "Simpu", which is found on the lens of the Semi Tex and has also been observed on the lens of a Pilot Ref.

This page of the AJCC website attributes the Semi Tex to a company called Kyokkō Shōkai, written 旭光商会 with different characters. This might be a mistake, or perhaps Kyokutō Kōki and Kyokkō were different companies.

However the Semi Tex is attributed to Nomura Seisakusho in the official price list dated November 1941.[2]

The Vester-Lette 4.5×6 folder is also attributed to Kyokutō Kōki Seisakusho by some sources,[3] but many hints relate this camera to Ginrei Kōki.
