The EFP-8 made by Konica is a very basic full plastic viewfinder with flash.

Specifications taken from original instructions booklet / manual:

  • focus free lens
  • 35mm film
  • 35mm f/6.0 lens, 3 elements, 3 groups
  • one touch sliding lens cover / power button
  • ISO speeds 100/200 or 400
  • thumb wheel film advance
  • flash ready LED indicator, recycle time 5 sec.
  • size: 128x72x49 mm
  • weight: 194gr. (without batteries and film)


An OEM variant called "45CAMERA Basic N" was available in Japan and sold in the「写真屋さん45」[1][2] chain stores.
