The Konica Minolta Dynax 7D (called Maxxum 7D in the USA and alpha-7 DIGITAL in Japan) is a 6.3 megapixel single lens reflex digital camera (DSLR) for autofocus-controlled interchangeable lenses, featuring the world’s first body-integral CCD-shift, the piezo actuator based Anti-Shake (camera-shake compensation). The 7D combines excellent picture quality, high performance and superb handling. The 7D features a high-definition 2.5-inch color LCD monitor and is compatible with all Minolta A mount lenses. Many of its earlier buyers soon got problems like repeatedly Error 58 or backfocus. Minolta had high costs with such defects as long they were covered by warranty, maybe one of the reasons for abandoning camera business.
