The MT series from Konica was introduced at Photokina 1986. All three models have fixed prime lenses, motorwind and pop-up flashes with quick recharging.
MT-7
- Lens: Konica 36mm, f/4 (Tessar-style 4 elements in 3 groups).
- Fixed focus.
- Fixed shutter speed of 1/125s.
- Smallest apertures are coupled to selected film speed: f/8 for ISO 100, f/11 for ISO 200, and f/16 for ISO 400.
- Film advance: Motorwind.
MT-9
- Lens: Konica 35mm, f/3.5 (Tessar-style 4 elements in 3 groups).
- Autofocus
- Close focus: 1.3m with focus lock, but no zone symbols in viewfinder.
- Automatic exposure via CdS meter.
- Shutter speed range: 1/10-1/500s.
- Film advance: Motorwind.
MT-11
- Lens: Hexanon 35mm, f/2.8 (Tessar-style 4 elements in 3 groups).
- Autofocus
- Close focus: 1m in normal use, 0.45m with flash. (This mode alters the angle of the lens and flash).
