The Konica FS-1 is a Konica AR bayonet mount camera introduced in 1979.

It is known as the first 35mm SLR with built-in motor drive. Full-featured SLR with Gallium Arsenide Phosphour TTL light meter. The viewfinder contains LED indications for the meter settings. It uses the Shutter-priority auto-exposure system. Extremely simple film load.

The electronic shutter has speeds from 2s to 1/1000 and B. The camera is dead without batteries, but those are 4 readily available AA alkalines. Use of rechargeables is dangerous for the circuitry.
