Kodak Retina Ia

The Retina Ia was a folding camera for 35mm film made by the German Kodak AG. It was introduced in 1951 as new version of the Retina I. Its new feature was the rapid winding lever. The Retina I series had an optical viewfinder showing more than the actual image. A brillant frame with parallax marks inside the finder showed the image area. Another feature of these cameras were the coupled shutter speed and aperture selectors. In coupled mode a faster speed did open lens aperture.
