The Matador is a self-erecting folding plate camera made by Willhelm Kenngott in Stuttgart in about 1928.[1] It takes 6.5×9cm pictures.
The example pictured has a 10.5cm f/6.3 Regulyt, set in a Vario everset shutter. McKeown states that the camera was also available with the same lens in an Ibsor shutter, an f/8 Spezial Aplanat in a Vario shutter, or an f/4.5 Trioplan in a Vario, Ibsor or Compur shutter. All these were front-focusing lenses.
