The KF-2N is a manual focus 35mm film SLR camera from Kenko. It accepts Nikon F Ai mount lenses. A similar model is also available called KF-1N, with a slower top shutter speed.
Its shutter is a metal vertical travelling type with speeds from 1s to 1/4000 with B. Flash sync is at 1/125 a sec. There is a hot shoe and PC socket for flash attachment. The self-timer has a delay of approx 10 sec. There is a multiple exposure button on the front of the camera.
It features TTL center-weighted metering system using a silicon photo diode activated by half pressing the shutter release button. It as a range of 5 to 17 EV at (ASA 100, 50mm f/1.7), settable to film speeds from 25 to 3200 ISO. There are three LED's in the finder to aid in exposure. + over exposure in red, O correct exposure in green, and - under exposure in red.
The finder has a 92% field of view with magnification 0.91x (infinity). It has a matte focusing screen with a split-image device and microprism as focusing aids. There is also a depth of field preview button that is on left hand side of the lens mount. The film transport uses a advance lever and a rewind crank. The mechanical counter is a upward advancing type that is automatically reset by opening the film back. The camera uses two 1.5v silver oxide SR44 or alkaline LR44 batteries.
