Iloca Stereo Rapid

The Iloca Stereo Rapid is a 35mm stereo camera made by Iloca from 1955. This camera offered a series of improvements and refinements over the previous models while keeping the same aesthetics as the Stereo IIa. Among the improvements the rapid film advance with a lever that advances 10 sprockets is the most significant, this camera also included a coupled rangefinder with front unit focusing and a focusing wheel at the top, and was fitted with faster lenses (35mm f/2.8 Steinheil Munchen Cassarit - triplet). Film transport and rewind were also redesign, with a double-exposure lever on the front and the rewind wheel at the bottom. Strap lugs were added to the body.[1]
A version for the American market was sold as Realist 45 with Steinheil Cassar-S 35mm f/3.5 lenses, no rangefinder and a Vero shutter.
This was the last stereo camera produced by Iloca.
