Adding images to the wiki is as simple as adding the url for an image. However, you should be careful about two matters.
- The image you are linking to must either be in the public domain or must be copyright in such a way as to allow reproduction within Camerapedia. You must assume that any image is copyright in such a way as not to allow this unless it is accompanied by a clear statement contradicting this, e.g. that it is copyleft under a "Creative Commons" license.
- The image you are linking to must be hosted by a person who, or organization that, has explicitly consented to having bandwidth used in this way.
Without the explicit consent of the copyright holder, do not take images to illustrate Camerapedia from other sites, scanned magazines or even manufacturers' publicity.
To be sure that an image of a camera, etc., is not copyrighted, simply take a photograph of it yourself.
