Glunz Mod. 0 Plate Camera image by Nicholas Middleton (Image rights) |
The Model 0 is a simple wooden-bodied 6.5x9cm 'hand & stand' folding plate camera by Glunz & Sohn Kamerawerk Hannover. It was available with a range of lenses and shutters, including the Glunz Anastigmat and Meyer Trioplan f6.3 105mm lenses in Vario or Ibsor shutters. The example illustrated has a Carl Zeiss Tessar f4.5 lens in a dial set Compur shutter, which may be a later addition as it does not appear in the advertisement shown on www.collection-appareils.com. The camera has front rise and cross movements, single extension bellows and a brilliant finder.
