Glico (グリコ) or Ezaki Glico (江崎グリコ) is a Japanese maker of confectionery. It was founded in 1922 by Ezaki Riichi (江崎利一), initially making confectionery from oyster glycogen (hence the name). It began to give free toys together with some of its products in 1927. These give-away toys included cameras in the 1950s and 1960s, notably the Glico Hit-type camera, and the Glico lighter camera and Glico pistol camera.
