L. Gevaert & Cie named after the founder Lieven Gevaert, was a company formed in 1894 in Antwerp, Belgium as a photographic paper manufacturer. They made the Gevaert film brands Express (30°DIN), Superchrom (30°DIN), Gevachrome (30°DIN) and Micrograin (27°DIN). In 1964, Gevaert merged with Agfa AG and Bayer AG. It was then renamed Agfa-Gevaert.
