Gakken created this 35mm pinhole camera in kit form in 2003, as issue no. 3 of its magazine Otona no kagaku (大人の科学). It is also supplied with a simple lens and the option of an "instant" shutter setting.
As of February 2012, the magazine was still offered for sale.
