The AZ-1 was the last M42 mount SLR made by Fujica. It was sold starting in 1978. It included an aperture priority auto-exposure system with TTL metering. The camera used a cloth focal plane shutter. A Fujinon-Z 43-75mm zoom lens was available with the AZ-1 as an alternative to the usual 50mm kit lens.
