Between 1932 and 1938 Balda introduced four different camera's with the name Frontbox. This second version from 1935 was only a minor upgrade from the original model. The box camera was now fitted with two brilliant finders and a new look with a larger name plate and a shiny metal rim around the front.

- Metal box covered with Leatherette
- “Balda” embossed on both sides of the camera
- Two 3/8 inch 16 UNC threaded tripod sockets
- T and B shutter set by pulling the smaller upper lever
- Two apertures set by pulling the larger bottom lever
- Cable release beneath the shutter release
- Simple F:11 meniscus lens
