The Exakta Varex VX 1000 is an SLR body for shooting small format frame size 24x36mm images on 35mm film. The camera for Exakta mount lenses was made by Ihagee in Dresden. It used interchangeable viewfinder modules. Ca. 105000 Exakta Varex VX 1000 cameras were made from 1967 to 1970.
