On the one hand the Exa IIb was a budget model of the Exa series since it had no exchangeable viewfinder module, on the other hand it was the intermediate model between the average Exas and the Exa 500 since it had a shutter with slow speeds down to ½ sec. but not speeds up to 1/500 like the Exa 500.
