The '''Fex Elite''' or ''Elite Fex'' is a 6×9cm [[bakelite]] viewfinder camera with rectangular pull-out lens barrel. The lens standard on this tin barrel has a shutter speed switch for choosing between 1/25 sec., 1/100 sec. and P. and another switch to change aperture from normal to intense (=intensive light=small aperture). Only the camera's first version of 1955 has no flash shoe. Its shutter is locked when the lens is not pulled out into working position. Since its second version the camera's switchable to frame-format 6×6cm. With the third version the shutter release button was moved upon the camera top. The last version has three shutter speeds (instead two plus P mode), and also a bigger view finder.
