Eikōdō
Eikō-Dō (栄光堂) was a Japanese camera distributor and perhaps maker. It was active as early as 1936. Until the war, it used the name Eikō-Dō Honten (榮光堂本店 in old writing) distributed various folders, like the Collex, National and Ugein, as well as an enlarger called Asia DO and filters called Gelmer.[1]
After the war, it seems that the company was reformed from 1951 to 1953 as Maki Shōji (槇商事) and called Eikō-Dō (栄光堂) again in 1953 and 1954, selling the Ruvinal folder (a continuation of the wartime Ugein) and the Ruvinal Flex TLR.[2]
