The Model G was one of Detrola's bakelite cameras for 3×4 cm exposures on 127 film. It was a less expensive alternative to the model H,[1] lacking that version's extinction light meter. Features a "fully corrected"[2] Ilex Anastigmat 2-inch f/4.5 or Detrola Anastigmat 2-inch f/4.5 lens. Shutter speeds 1/25 to 1/200, T, and B.
While the more expensive Detrolas had metal viewfinder housings, the flimsy molded-plastic viewfinder of the G is often found warped or disintegrated entirely.
