Hüttig Cupido 1908 image by Yumi Abe (Image rights) |
The Cupido folders of Suter, Hüttig and later Ica were self-unfolding plate cameras. This was uncommon, especially for the 9x12 format folders. Common 9x12 folders were first opened and then unfolded. The Cupidos were opened and unfolded in just one step. The same principle was used for the Cupido Stereolette models.
