The Condor is a Japanese 35mm rangefinder. It is pretty obvious that its external aspect was copied on the Nikon S2. It is listed by McKeown under the Condor Camera entry. An example has been observed at a Yahoo Japan auction with a Condor A.C. Delta 4.5cm f/2.8 lens, a Rectus-MX B, 1–500 shutter and a logo on the top plate that probably reads Deller (or less plausibly Delter). The similarity of these Delta and Deller names with the lens name appearing in ads for the Condor folders from the early 1940s (デルター, maybe Deltar) is maybe a hint that these cameras are related.

The Condor is a Japanese 35mm rangefinder. It is pretty obvious that its external aspect was copied on the Nikon S2. Various sources[1] attribute it to a company called Condor Camera. An example has been observed in a Yahoo Japan auction with a Condor A.C. Delta 4.5cm f/2.8 lens, a Rectus-MX B, 1–500 shutter and a logo on the top plate that probably reads Deller (or less plausibly Delter).
