This 1988 camera labeled '''[[Canon]] Zoom''' on its front (with no other letters or numbers) is a significant model in the company's [[Canon Sure Shot/Prima/Autoboy | long-running point & shoot series]]. While some previous Canon models had offered [[Canon Sure Shot Tele/Top Twin/Autoboy Tele | dual focal lengths]], this camera's 35-70mm  zoom lens was relatively uncommon at the time, but was a feature soon to dominate during the 1990s. It also offers a slow-speed mode.
