The Canon EOS 500D or Canon Rebel T1i is a digital single lens reflex camera. It was launched in 2009 as successor of the Canon EOS 450D (Rebel XSi). It has a better sensor with higher resolution, higher light sensitivity and higher dynamics, a better display, a vignetting correction and a high resolution video mode.
